About Ruby

Ruby's passion for ceramics was instilled in her from a young age, growing up surrounded by her father's creativity in his Cape Cod studio. After living in Boston, she felt the pull back to her roots and returned home to help her father create his signature pieces. Soon, Ruby began creating her own work and participating local craft shows, where her unique driftwood fish and oyster plates gained popularity. In 2018, Ruby took over her father's studio rebranded it as "Wildflower Pottery," infusing it with her own vibrant, ocean-inspired style while still featuring her father's work. Her love for clean design and bold colors shines through in every piece she creates.

When Ruby is not creating in her studio she loves to garden and grow beautiful flowers as well as take her amazing pups, Layla and Saffron, for walks in the woods!

A note from Ruby:
In loving memory of my father, Clay,

who taught me the art of pottery and passed down his studio to me. I carry on his legacy, using the techniques he taught me, and feel his presence with me every day in the studio and garden. His spirit lives on in every piece I create.
